In order to be able to query your calendars using Siri on phone or HomePod, you will need to ensure that all calendars are correctly set up.
The following instructions outline key settings which must be enabled:
1. Turn on voice recognition and allow personal requests

Make sure to select the Owner Account
Repeat the same steps above on the 'Resident Account'.
2. Allow Calendars to Access Siri
On your iPhone, configure Siri settings for calendars:
1.1 Enable Calendars on Siri
STEPS: iPhone Settings > Calendar > Siri & Search > enable all
1.2 Turn on Account Calendars
STEPS: iPhone Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Select Account > Turn on Calendars for account
3. Enable Location Services
STEPS: iPhone Settings > Apple Id (Your name at top)> Find My > Turn on 'Share my Location'
4. Siri voice training
You may need to do voice training on your phone or on the homepod.

5. Set-up Calendar App to display relevant calendars
In order for Siri to read out your appointments, you have to select the appropriate calendars on your iPhone CALENDAR app
2.1 Select Calendars
STEPS: iPhone Calendar App > Click on Calendars (bottom of screen) > Select relevant calendars to display
2.2 Set-up default Calendars
Set a default calendar for new events (Siri only adds new appointments to the default calendar)
STEPS: iPhone Settings > Calendar > Default Calendar > Select preferred calendar
Querying Calendars - Voice Commands
Siri will read out events on all calendars selected in the previous section
Voice commands to be used include:
- "Hey Siri, what's in my calendar this afternoon”
- “Hey Siri, what’s on my calendar on Saturday”
- “Hey Siri, what’s on my schedule tomorrow”
